Flintastics Ltd began its story in 2015, originally known as Rugby Woof Pack, offering dog walking services to families across Rugby and the surrounding areas. From day one, our mission was simple: to give dogs the exercise, fun, and care they need when their owners can’t be there.
At the very heart of our early days was Echo, our Shepherd cross, who was with us from the very beginning. Echo was a reactive dog, and living with her taught us firsthand just how important it is to create safe, positive environments where dogs can feel secure and understood. It was Echo’s needs that led us to secure our own private 1-acre field — a space designed not only for her, but for other dogs like her who thrive with thoughtful management and freedom in a controlled setting.
Through Echo, we developed a deep understanding of dog behaviour, body language, and the importance of calm, structured social experiences. This shaped the way we care for every dog we meet, long after Echo’s passing in 2021.
While the business began as a one-person operation led by Abbie, it became a true family venture when Carl joined in 2018, bringing extra strength to the business and sharing the same passion for supporting dogs and their owners.
In 2024, we rebranded to Flintastics Ltd — a name that blends the word “Fantastic” with the name of our much-loved golden retriever, Flint (fondly known as Fantastic Mr Flint). Flint was a huge part of our family and the inspiration for the welcoming, fun, and caring ethos we’ve built into every part of our service. Flint sadly passed away in October 2024 after a brave fight with Leptospirosis, but his name and spirit continue to shape everything we do.
Today, our home is shared with Winter, our beautiful White Swiss Shepherd, who reminds us daily why dogs deserve lives filled with adventure, understanding, and unconditional love.

What started as a small, local dog walking service has grown into a trusted community for dog owners across Rugby and the surrounding areas. From structured play sessions and reliable home visits to natural, healthy treats - our mission is to give every dog a safe, fun, and enriching experience. As lifelong dog lovers, we understand just how much your dog means to you, and we treat every four-legged friend in our care as if they were part of our own family.

- From One Dog Walk to a Whole Community
Every part of Flintastics has been shaped by the dogs who’ve shared our lives:
🧡 Echo - The One Who Started It All Echo, our German Shepherd cross, was there from day one. As a reactive dog, Echo taught us more about dog behaviour, patience, and advocacy than any textbook ever could. She showed us how important it is to offer calm, structured spaces for dogs who need a little extra understanding. It was because of Echo that we secured our private field, and her influence still guides the way we work with every dog today. Echo passed away in 2021, but her legacy lives on in every safe space we create.
💙 Flint - Our Fantastic Mr Flint Flint, our golden retriever, was the inspiration behind our rebrand to Flintastics. His gentle nature, happy-go-lucky personality, and love for every adventure perfectly captured the spirit of what we want for all dogs: a life full of fun, kindness, and connection. Flint sadly passed away in October 2024 after a battle with leptospirosis, but his name and memory continue to inspire everything we do.
❤️ Winter - The Newest Member of Our Pack Winter is our beautiful White Swiss Shepherd, full of energy, curiosity, and personality. She keeps us on our toes and reminds us that no two dogs are the same — each one comes with their own needs, quirks, and lessons to teach. Winter’s playful spirit and sweet nature are a constant reminder of why we love what we do.
Our Dogs
At Flintastics, we’re more than just a dog care service — we’re a family business built on trust, experience, and a whole lot of love for dogs.
Abbie — Founder & Pack Leader With a lifelong passion for dogs and a deep understanding of canine behaviour, Abbie founded the business back in 2015 with a simple mission: to offer dogs the kind of care, fun, and enrichment she wanted for her own. Living with a reactive dog (Echo) taught her first-hand the importance of safe spaces and structured support, and those lessons shaped the values Flintastics still lives by today. Whether she’s planning new play sessions, picking the perfect treats, or chatting to dog owners, Abbie’s focus is always on helping dogs live their best lives.
Carl — Field Supervisor & Dog Taxi Driver Carl officially joined Flintastics in 2018, bringing both an extra pair of trusted hands and a shared love of dogs. He’s often the friendly face your dog will see at pick-up or the calming presence supervising play in the field. With a strong focus on safety, welfare, and making sure every dog enjoys their time with us, Carl’s relaxed and reliable nature puts both pups and their humans at ease.
Together, we combine years of hands-on experience, ongoing learning, and genuine passion to make sure your dog is treated like family — whether they're joining us for play, a home visit, or enjoying one of our carefully chosen natural treats.
